Accountability, for grown-ups

Goals stick better with a buddy.

Match with one person working on something similar. Check in daily. Cheer each other on. That's it.

A check-in is a sentence. One person reads it.

Type whatever you want to say about today. Add a photo if you want. Your buddy sees it, comments back, and you do the same for them. No forms, no metrics theater, no algorithms. Just two people, showing up.

Built for showing up, not showing off.

Most accountability apps are gamified to death — leaderboards, badges, streak shame, social pressure. We did the opposite. Here's what we believe.

Belief 01 / Match

One person. Not a follower count.

No leaderboards. No social graph. No "people you may know." Just one accountability partner, working on something similar to you. Re-match anytime if it's not clicking — but only one at a time.

The whole point is the depth of the relationship, not the breadth.

Working on running. 3 timezones away. Cheering you on since week 1.

Belief 02 / Check in

A check-in is a sentence, not a form.

No mood sliders. No goal-progress percentages. No "log your weight, calories, mood, energy on a 1-10 scale." Just type whatever you want to say about today.

If a photo would say it better, add a photo. If a sentence is enough, a sentence is enough.

Belief 03 / Streaks

Streaks should encourage, not punish.

Most apps zero your streak the moment you miss a day. That's not how habits work. Life happens. You get sick. You travel.

Our streaks bend. Miss a day, lose nothing. Miss three? You'll get a nudge from your buddy. The streak doesn't shame you — it just notices when you're back.

Thursday was a skip. That's fine.

Belief 04 / Privacy

It's private. Like, actually private.

Your check-ins are visible to one person: your buddy. Not to followers (there aren't any). Not to an algorithm. Not to advertisers.

No public feed. No social graph. No "people you may know." When you write something, one person reads it.

Three steps. About three minutes.

Sign up, get matched, show up. The hard part isn't the app — it's the showing up. Which is exactly why having a buddy helps.

1.

Tell us what you're working on.

A goal, a habit, a side project. Fitness, learning, recovery — anything with a roughly-daily cadence.

2.

Get matched.

We pair you with one person working on something similar. Usually within a day. Re-match anytime.

3.

Check in daily.

Type a sentence. Cheer on theirs. That's the whole thing. No coaching, no homework, no metrics theater.

03

You're probably wondering.

Is it free?

Yes. No paywalls, no premium tier, no trial. Daily check-ins with one buddy are free.

What if I don't like my buddy?

Re-match anytime. One tap, no awkward conversation. You'll get a new pairing within a day or so. Some pairs click immediately, some don't — totally fine either way.

Can I have multiple buddies?

One at a time — that's the point. The whole product is built around a focused 1-on-1 relationship, not a follower count.

What kinds of goals work best?

Anything with a daily-ish cadence: habits (workouts, language practice, journaling), projects (writing a novel, building a thing, learning a skill), or recovery (sobriety, sleep, mental health). Things you'd want to think about every day.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your check-ins are visible to one person — your buddy — and nobody else. We don't sell data, run ads, or train models on your content. See our privacy policy for the full version.

Is there an iOS or Android app?

Yes, both. Plus a web app. Same account everywhere. Real-time sync. Native push notifications. Cross-platform from day one.
